School Closure 12/16/24
Due to a critical technical failure affecting the main technology systems, including the PA system, phones, internet, and Wi-Fi, I am unable to ensure effective communication across the district. This poses a significant safety concern, as the inability to alert staff and students promptly in the event of an emergency is unacceptable.
For the safety and well-being of everyone, I have made the decision to cancel classes until these issues are resolved. Therefore, there will be no classes, tomorrow Monday, December 16th. Thank you, Mrs. Viscounte
Reminder: Winter Break begins Monday, Dec. 23. Classes resume Monday, Jan. 6.
Looking for a Christmas gift for your family to enjoy together? Join other Trojan families and purchase tickets for the Cleveland Cavs game vs. the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, February 4.
If we sell at least 50 tickets through our school (which will all be seated together), we'll be able to go on the court as part of the pre-game cheer tunnel!
Tickets are $49.00 and are available for purchase now through the school board office. They MUST be purchased in advance, and they will be distributed after we sell at least 50. Deadline to order tickets for this promotion is DEC. 20!
PLEASE CALL (330) 938-6165 FOR MORE INFORMATION.
A group of our 8th-grade girls took a field trip to NEOMED for the "STEM Goes Red" event to explore the infinite possibilities in the world of STEM. Girls from all over northeast Ohio were there to hear from women in STEM careers and participate in breakout activities, including a heart lab demonstration.
Among the speakers was Miss Ohio, who also wears the hats of a scientist, ballerina and STEM student! Thank you to her and the many wonderful women in attendance who were such an inspiration to our students!
Tomorrow! Wear your pajamas and join us for a fun-filled festive evening for the whole family!
Reminder: Join us, TOMORROW, Thursday, Dec. 12 for our free "Hope Series" for Sebring families.
What We're Learning: Our 4th- and 5th-graders participated in a fun history trivia challenge and the winners received tokens to get a free book from our vending machine!
We hope to see you at 6pm next Thursday, Dec. 12 for our Hope & Resilience series. If you missed the first one, no worries - we will be glad to have you there.
