✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ✨ Trojan Class of 2025 🎓
✨ Congratulations to Valedictorian Kiera Weekly! ✨

Sebring McKinley students celebrated Law Day this last week with a variety of activities.
Attorney Lori Shells-Simmons visited Mrs. Lee's government class to speak with students on Wednesday. On Thursday, Kiera Weekly and Kristal Giron shadowed the Honorable Judge Joseph L. Schiavoni, observing actual cases in action at the Sebring Courthouse. Following this, they met up with Mrs. Lee and students Zachary Todd, Mia Somerville, Emily Wright, Jay Zheng, and Angelo Vecchio for the Mahoning Valley Law Day Luncheon. We are proud of the way these students represented the Trojans!

As we near the end of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, we have shown our gratitude to our excellent educators in a number of ways. On behalf of our Board of Education, Superintendent Mrs. Viscounte, Mrs. Malloy, and Mrs. Kimball hand packaged cookies that were distributed to every district staff member.
Each building also treated staff to special treats and meals. BL Miller hosted delicious lunch buffets this week. On Tuesday morning, Principal Clark provided breakfast for McKinley staff. Mr. Clark remarked, "It is a small token of my appreciation for all they do for our kids. I am blessed to work with awesome students and amazing teachers. Together we form a team that creates transformational experiences for all.

Shout out to our wonderful Sebring school nurses, Mrs. Leib and Ms. Hensley! We celebrate the great care you take of our students today, School Nurse Day.

Reminder Trojans:

We would be remiss to not give a huge shout out to our principals during this Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.
Last week we celebrated Principal Appreciation Day, but we are so thankful for the care, dedication, and leadership that Mr. Clark (McKinley Jr./Sr. High School Principal) and Mrs. Hanley (BL Miller Elementary School Principal) contribute to our district every day. Please join us in thanking Mr. Clark and Mrs. Hanley for their wonderful work!

Today is School Lunch Hero Day and we're sharing our tremendous appreciation for our cafeteria team! Thank you for all that you do!
