Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!

The students and staff at B. L. Miller welcome you and your children to our school. You are a critical part of your child’s school success, and we hope we will have the opportunity to get to know you and your family personally. Parents are very important members of the B.L. Miller family. We encourage you to participate fully in your child’s school experience. We invite you to share in the many exciting and rewarding opportunities awaiting you during this school year.

B. L. Miller is a K-5 building with approximately 225 students, and class sizes are mostly between 15-25 students. We have a child-centered school environment where we personally know each child. With your support our goal is to have each child receive an individualized education that addresses whole child growth and development.

Each year we work to improve the children’s experiences at our school! We are continuing into our 2nd year working in our new Science of Reading curriculums including Wonders and CKLA.   In math, we interactive activities with our Bridges Math Program to help grow your child's math learning. Our 6th grade students have been back at B.L. and what a joy it is to have them back! Our 6th grade student senate leads many activities and promotes positivity throughout our building!

Did you know we have a 1/2 day AM & PM PreK classes? If you are interested in our half-day preschool, let us know!  We consider our Mahoning County Preschool Unit the best - with a 5-Star Rating!
